Congenital lung malformations are a group of conditions where part of the lung has an abnormal mass or growth. These can be solid or filled with fluid and include CCAM, CPAM, bronchopulmonary sequestration and many others. Parents can be faced with many questions and decisions after their child is diagnosed with a lung malformation.
Join us for a virtual discussion with Thane Blinman, MD, MBA, attending pediatric surgeon and Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), for more information to help families navigate the diagnosis of a lung malformation.
Dr. Blinman will discuss common questions about management of CCAM/CPAM and other lung lesions, treatment options, what to expect before and after surgery, questions parents should ask, how to choose the right healthcare team for your child, and more.
This seminar focuses on pulmonology and surgery and was delivered on December 8, 2022.
