Pediatric Sleep Problems: Practical Guidance for Common Concerns in Outpatient Care

In this seminar Drs. Handa and Williamson will introduce the most common pediatric sleep problems seen in outpatient primary and specialty care sites. Common concerns include both behaviorally-based sleep problems (e.g., insomnia and poor sleep health) and medically-based sleep disorders (e.g., sleep disordered breathing). The speakers will identify brief assessment strategies to help guide differential diagnosis and treatment planning. The speakers will additionally discuss evidence-based sleep management approaches that can be practically applied in outpatient care, as well as additional resources for families and clinicians.
