At the end of this session, learners will be able to understand the background, epidemiology, and prevalence of Immunoglobulin E (IgE) Mediated Food Allergy (FA), the risk factors for FA, and the immunology of FA. Learners will also be able to recall the types of food allergens, FA reactions, the diagnosis and management of FA, primary prevention of FA, and how to introduce food allergens early.
This seminar focuses on allergy and immunology and was delivered at the Open Medical Institute in Salzburg, Austria, from January 22 – 28, 2023.
